Grant Lamothe worked for us over seven years as our in-house technical writer and illustrator. Both his writing and illustrating skills were first-rate, particularly his illustrating and graphics skills. It is hard to find this combination of a writer and illustrator in one individual -especially in the technical field- but Grant demonstrated those skills consistently over a wide variety of projects, including product manuals and technical sheets, newsletters, marketing material and reworking our website. Grant contributed to our success in growing from a $10,000,000 a year company to an $18,000,000 a year company during the time he was with us at Douglas Lighting Controls.

Grant was our one-man publishing department for several years when I owned Pacific Pool and Spa, which was then the largest manufacturer in western Canada. He produced material from manuals to brochures to catalogs to promotional litertature to illustrations and diagrams -all with consistent flair, style and pertinence.
-Victor Gorcak, Pacific Pool & Spa

At Western Technigraphics, we prided ourselves on being the best technical illustration studio in the Vancouver area and we only utilized illustrators who could produce work that met our standards. Grant accomplished that in all the work he did for us. Grant is a talented illustrator who has good illustrating skills in addition to the ability to understand technical concepts and clearly portray them.
-Andy Lambert, Western Technigraphics Inc.

I had contacted several companies, including a large downtown Vancouver design group, regarding my logo and website design. I must say, compared to Grant, they did not provide anywhere near the value or creativity and were not as easy to work with. I highly recommend Grant to anyone looking for a creative and dynamic logo or website designer.

Grant did an excellent job in creating the logo and document style for our company (which was a start-up in our garage) and editing, formatting and illustrating the assembly and user guides for all of our products, which are now distributed through many regions of Canada and the USA.
